Three weeks on the hard - hard work

We've been on the hard for three weeks but now we are back in the water again.
It has been a lot of work, mainly preparing the bottom for another year or two in the warm, salt waters.
We had good help of friends who joined us for 10 days. Our neighbors envied us.  It was very nice company.
We also managed to install a new depth sounder, improve our storage room, fix the forestay fitting and many smaller things.

A break in the work

Our good friends came down from Sweden to work on our boat that now is on the hard standing in the marina.
After a week we have managed to scrape and sand the bottom and paint with primer.
We needed a break so we went to Kas and Kekova.

When we went sightseeing with our crew from Björklinge, Sweden, we went to the beautiful sea side town of Kas. We walked around the nice old town and to the harbor. Here we had a meal of ten different mezes at Smileys. When the girls went to the toilet they discovered an ancient water cistern from the Lycian time.
It was 6 * 12 m and in good condition.

Just missed a land slide

We rented a car and did a trip up the mountains north of Kumluca. Suddenly the road was almost blocked by a landslide. It had been raining heavily the day before.

Finnish Kubb, Mjölky

Today it was bbq time. After a nice meal there are always some games taking place. It was boule and some kind of Finnish kubb.
Ulla participated happily.
