We arrived to Kos in Greece with the yellow Q-flag flying. Immidately a harbour police came and wanted our information. After a few minutes he sent us to immigration, customs and harbour authority. It took us about two hours to complete the formalities and costed 15 Euros.
It was very easy and not expensive contrary to all rumours.
Now we are on the old Hipocrates island and in town there is a very old platan from his time. It doesn't look very nice but who looks nice after several thousands of years. The Bogainvillas and Hibiscuses are very beautiful.

A peaceful anchorage
We anchored in a small bay just outside of Bozburun.
Except for us there were sheeps and goats feading on the grass next to the beach. A couple of storches were walking in the water looking for something to eat.
A most peaceful place.

The launch of a new gulet
Having a beer in Bozburun we saw a big shiny gulet on the beach. It moved!!!
It was about 40 m long, standing on a sled. A big machine was pushing and pulling. The ship was varnished teak with a perfect glossy surface.
There were about 20 men carrying planks and putting grease on them. The sled was slowly comming closer to the water and Another big gulet came close and two Heavy ropes were connected. The gulet roared and suddenly with a big splash the new gulet was floating.

Strange fish in Kekova
When anchored in Kekova there was a strange fish swimming close by the boat. It was swimming with speed in the surface for about 15 minutes. We saw the tail fin and the dorsal fin. They were about a meter apart so it was a big fish. The dorsal fin was clear blue.
What kind of fish was it?
My suggestion is a blue fin tuna, Ulla's is a blue shark and a friend's is a russian mini sub marine.
It was probably a Blue fish or Lüfer in turkish. Can be up to 2 m and is very aggresive if you catch it.

Final count down
We have prepared the boat, attended the last consert, said good bye to Petek, the restaurant, said good bye to everybody. A lot of people were standing on the docks waving good bye and hooting in the horns.
We will miss you all but hope to see you somewhere in the world.
Now we're anchored in Kekova Roads and tomorrow we will continue west.
